Ensure Your Honda’s Sensing Suite is working Reliably
Newer Honda vehicles all come equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), technically achieving Level 2 autonomous driving, with the company taking steps to introduce limited level 3 capabilities in specific vehicles. We help you to keep these systems properly calibrated so you can keep using your car’s features reliably.

WHAT WE DO
The diversity of the Honda Sensing suite requires a multi-faceted approach to calibration. Our services aim to cover the full spectrum of Honda’s safety features.
The safety provided by ADAS can be affected by:
Ignoring any of these issues is not recommended as they play a huge role in keeping both the car and its riders safe. If any of these issues appear,
Don’t take any risks.

Before any calibration begins, technicians carry out a full vehicle inspection including:
Scanning all ADAS modules using factory-authorized tools like Honda i-HDS software.
Checking for specific fault codes like Static alignment not done or Dynamic alignment not done.
Inspecting physical mounting brackets for the radar and camera for damage or misalignment.
Verifying tire pressure and ensuring the fuel tank is full, as low fuel levels can alter the vehicle's pitch.
Confirming the vehicle is positioned on a perfectly level surface with less than 1 degree of variance.
Static Calibration
The vehicle is parked in a controlled indoor environment with lighting that prevents shadows.
OEM-specific target boards are placed at precise distances in front of and around the vehicle.
Connect the i-HDS diagnostic software to the appropriate port for camera and radar alignment.
Targets are adjusted to a specific height and aligned perfectly to the vehicle's centerline.
Dynamic Calibration
The vehicle is driven on public roads at consistent speeds.
Requires straight roads with clear lane markings.
The system self-calibrates by tracking fixed environmental landmarks while the diagnostic tool monitors progress in real-time.
Some models require dual calibration (both static and dynamic) to fully restore system integrity.
Multipurpose Camera Unit (Windscreen-Mounted)
High-precision targets are set at measured distances to realign the camera's field of view for Lane Keeping Assist (LKAS) and Collision Mitigation Braking (CMBS).
Millimeter Wave Radar (Front Bumper)
The radar beam is aimed to ensure accurate distance measurement and closing-speed calculations for Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).
Blind Spot Information (BSI) Sensors
Calibrating the sensors behind the rear bumper ensures detection zones accurately cover the vehicle's blind spots, drastically reducing risk of accidents.
Multi-View Camera System (360-Degree)
Technicians use honda sensing 360 to use floor-mounted patterns and stitch individual images from four cameras into a seamless top-down view.
LaneWatch Camera
A unique passenger-side mirror camera calibration using specific dot-pattern targets for further blind-spot visibility.
Once the calibration sequence is complete, technicians perform final checks:
A post-repair scan to confirm all ADAS-related fault codes have been cleared and "Aiming Completed" status is logged.
A verification road test to ensure features like lane centering and cruise control are functioning smoothly.
Documentation of the process for insurance and warranty compliance.
Issuing a formal Calibration Certificate that meets Australian Standards.
| Tool | Purpose |
